Jennifer Standridge first stepped into the international spotlight in 2022 after her partner Maddy Morphosis broke RuPaul’s Drag Race tradition by becoming the first straight man to compete on the show.

In response to the controversy, Maddy said that the concepts of “masculine” and “feminine” were “arbitrary and made up”. And to anyone who claims that she represents an “underrepresented group,” she says: “I appreciate you, but straight men are not a persecuted and excluded group within society.”
