On New Year’s Day 2022, Pat Muresan proposed to his girlfriend, Laurel Kate Anderson. He gave her a big engagement ring. Laurel posted a close up of the ring on her Instagram and posted: “WE ARE ENGAGED AND I WILL NEVER STOP CRYING HAPPY TEARS. @patmuresan forever forever.”

Surveillance video showed Chris falling to the ground shortly after he finished talking to Laurel.
Chris arrived at the prison infirmary an hour after the first order from the doctor. Laurel was by his side the whole time. She told the channel: “The whole time I was praying for a miracle to happen. But… that was not the case.”
“It’s just not real to me,” he admitted. “I feel like Chris is out of town. Or… I just haven’t seen him in a long time. I can’t think about the fact that I won’t see him again in this life.”
Chris and Laurel were in a relationship when he passed away on February 17, 2017.
Chris called Flowery Branch his hometown and his residence in his last days. Christopher was educated at Johnson High School and Gainesville State College. He worked as an accountant at RWH Trucking.
