She directed and assisted in scoring cognitive-behavioral tests, as well as brain imaging, fMRI, and validation for a neurocognitive study in adolescents.
Carolynn served as an HSSC Tutor at Stanford University in May 2011. She held that position for four months until August 2011. In the meantime, from May 2012 to August 2012, she assumed the position of Resident Assistant at Stanford University . After college, Carolynn took a year off to work in the dental clinic at Ravenswood Family Health Center in East Palo Alto, CA, where her interest in pediatric dentistry and working with underserved communities was sparked.
Carolynn worked as a predoctoral researcher at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She began this research work in September 2014 and worked until May 2018. In January 2016, she worked as a Clinical Investigator at Boston Children’s Hospital until June 2018.
Carolynn is also on the team of physicians at Alameda Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. She stated in her bio that she is an active member of the California Pediatric Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. She is also a volunteer clinical instructor at UCSF.
