Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak: How to get Prized Pelts

Your adventure really begins in any Monster Hunter game once you beat the main story and start working your way through the ranks of masters. The higher you climb the ranks, the more difficult your hunts will become, not only requiring more knowledge and skills, but also far better weapons and equipment for your character. The series has always had a flow of hunting monsters, gathering materials, crafting better gear, and then hunting fiercer monsters, and that remains true for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Along with the new area and monsters, many new materials have been added Sunbathing which you will need to collect to craft the latest and most powerful equipment. Some can be picked up in the environment, while others, like Prized Pelts, must be carved from smaller monsters in certain areas of the map. Since the new area is quite large and there’s always a chance you won’t get a material drop on your first cut, it can be difficult to determine exactly where to get certain things. Here’s exactly how you can get Prised Pelts Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

How to breed prized fur from Kelbi

There are two smaller monsters inside Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak which have the opportunity to drop prized fur, the first of which is the deer-looking Kelbi. Here is the best way to grow them for this material.

Step 1: Enter the Shrine Ruins area and fast travel to Subcamp 1.

Step 2: Travel between areas 11, 12 and 13 in a sort of circle. There should be about half a dozen of them in this kill lane as long as there are no other large monsters in those zones to chase them away.

Step 3: Assuming you’re master rank, each Kebli you carve will have a 30% chance to drop a prized skin.

How to breed Prised Pelts from Anteka

Other hunting monsters that can drop Prised Pelt are the Great Horned Anteka. Here is the best way to grow them.

Step 1: Go to Frost Islands and start in area 1.

Step 2: This is the only area where this monster is spotted, so wander here again and again as you wipe them out.

Step 3: Anteka should be your backup option for farming prized furs as they have worse drop rates. They will only drop in master rank at a rate of 18%, which is slightly more than half the rate of Kebli.
