A video of MS Dhoni shared on social media has made people laugh. Why? The video, which captures part of the interview, shows the cricketer once outsmarting the Bangladeshi cricketers with his Bangla language skills.

The video was posted on an Instagram page called mahisakshivibes. “Mastermind Thala,” reads the title, referencing the nickname fans affectionately use to address Dhoni.
The video opens to show Captain Cool sitting with a microphone in hand. He begins by saying that he became fluent in Bangla while working for the Indian Railways and posted in Kharagpur, a city in West Bengal. He added that although he is now rusty, his knowledge of the language helped him in the match against Bangladesh.
Dhoni recounted how he overheard the Bangladeshi players discussing their strategy in front of him during an ongoing match, unaware of the fact that he knew the language. It was only after the match was over that they found out that Dhoni could understand Bangla.

The video was shared a day ago. Since then, it has amassed more than 10.4 million views, and the numbers are only growing. The sharing also prompted people to post different comments.
