Naira Marley’s Trial Stalled As Defense Demands More Documents

The trial of Afeez Adesina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, before Judge I. Nicholas Oweibo at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, has been adjourned today, Tuesday 22 October 2019.

…while the defense attorney filed a “reprimand request” asking the prosecution to preload more documents.

Nigerian artist, Afeez Adesina Fashola, was indicted on May 20, 2019 on an 11 count charge of credit card fraud brought against him by the EFCC.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to all charges in the prosecution that led to the start of the trial.
