According to the actress, her mother struggled and did “her best” to raise her. And she is “most grateful” for all the struggles her mother endured for her children.

Speaking more about Nanna’s mother, Marie-Ann is Swedish and a photographer by profession. However, she only started her career in 2012, when her youngest daughter moved out of the house and she herself moved from the city to Lidingö.
So what originally started as an interest in photography has now turned into an interest in nature and the environment.
Marie-Ann primarily filmed her immediate surroundings on foot or by bike and included everything from birds, insects, plants, and landscapes—things “as a stressed-out person in a big city” she never saw at the high speed she was at.
Nature photography in her aroused not only interest, but also a strong feeling for nature and all its creatures – to care for and preserve it.
In general, Marie-Ann believed that man is not outside of nature, but is part of it. Perhaps most importantly, our survival depends entirely on him, she wondered. Therefore, she hopes that through the images she will convey at least a little how fantastic and beautiful the outdoors is.
