Career
During the 2012-13 season, Oliver began his hockey career with the J20 SuperElit in the Swedish Junior Ice Hockey League. He spent two years with J20. When he was 16 years old, he made his debut in the Swedish Hockey League with Färjestad BK during the 2013–14 season. On January 10, 2014, he signed a two-year contract extension with Färjestad BK. After that, in the 2014 KHL Junior Draft, Avangard Omsk selected him 107th overall.
On 10 November 2014, Kylington was loaned by Färjestads to HockeyAllsvenskan AIK for the 2014–15 season. The Calgary Flames selected Kylington in the second round, 60th overall, in the 2015 NHL Draft. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the organization on July 15, 2015. On April 9, 2016, he made his NHL debut against the Minnesota Wild.
