Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and her husband celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary
Nollywood actress Omotola celebrates her 23rd wedding anniversary with her husband Captain Matthew Ekehinde, who also turned one year older.
Omotola, who posted this on his Instagram page, later posted a photo of them in the same red outfits and captioned the photo:
Happy 23rd wedding anniversary to us and happy birthday to you, Honeyboy. It’s crazy how it’s been so long and yet so new. #justforgrace
Omotola and Mattew Ekeinde got married in 1996 but decided to have their dream wedding in 2001 with lots of friends and family on a Dash 7 plane while flying from Lagos to Benin.
The wedding was seen as one of the biggest and most talked about at the time.
Even more rumors spread because they got married on a plane.
