Optical illusion where a woman shows off the ‘hole’ in her hand leaves people baffled – but can you tell what’s going on

AN ARTIST has left their fans stunned after apparently showing off a ‘hole’ in their arm, and no one can figure out what’s going on.

TikTok user Adeline shared a video of her ‘fixing the hole’, apparently filling it with rice, covering it with peanut butter, and even stuffing it with sushi.

The ‘hole’ itself is incredibly convincing, even showing the space below it, be it a table, puzzle or book.

At the end of the clip, she is seen pushing her own finger through the ‘hole’, leaving viewers completely confused.

Since then, the clip has amassed nearly 16 million views as followers try to figure out what’s going on.

Commenting on the video, one wrote: “SORRY I THOUGHT IT WAS REAL AND IT SCARED ME.”

“That’s not possible,” said another, while the third added, “How did you do this?”

The reality is, the hole is actually one of Adele’s incredibly realistic illustrations, and this isn’t the first to fool the web.

She previously shared a video showing what appears to be a drawing in the hallway, but when Adeline turns the camera, the drawing appears to sink into the table below her.

It seems that an art lover managed to create a magical 3D corridor that runs through the surface below, and no one had any idea how it was possible.

However, at the end of the video, Adeline showed that instead of the drawing sinking into the board below, it was actually a 3D structure. outside of the table.

She said that this phenomenon is called “inverted perspective.”

She explained: “I don’t know about you, but I am fascinated by optical illusions. Today I played with something called reverse perspective and made a little art gallery.”

Even after Adeline revealed the illusion, the commenters were still confused.

“My brain switches from seeing the illusion to breaking it every two seconds. I’m a bit dizzy,” wrote one.

“I keep seeing it and not seeing it,” added another.
