SALON DU BOURGET 2017 – From June 19 to 25, the International Aeronautics and Space Fair takes place in Le Bourget, in the Paris region. Ticket prices, address, access, but above all the program: all the information so you don’t miss anything.

The Paris Air Show takes place every two years, in mid-June, at the Ile-de-France airport. Each edition of this major meeting of the aeronautical industry attracts professionals and enthusiasts, who can observe the best aircraft of the moment, attend flight exhibitions, learn more about new products in the sector, etc. The fair is first open to professionals for 4 days, then to the general public on Friday , Saturday and Sunday. More than 2,000 exhibitors from forty countries are present. In 2015, during the last edition, a record attendance was achieved, with 351,000 visitors.

If you want to attend the fair in 2017, below you will find all the necessary practical information: dates, ticket prices, opening and closing times, address of Le Bourget airport and access procedures. And of course the highlights of the program, so you don’t miss the main attractions of this 52nd edition. For those who unfortunately would not have the opportunity to attend the event, we have planned compensation thanks to reports from our journalists on the spot. In particular, it presents the American stealth fighter F-35, a competitor to the Rafale, which is present at the air show for the first time. Another focus will be on the two Airbus models on display at Le Bourget: the A321neo and the A350-1000.

Several highlights will mark this 52nd edition of the Paris Air Show. First, the presentation and flight demonstration of the Lockheed Martin F-35, a stealth fighter and competitor to the Rafale (which will also be present), with its 3,000 orders. Then, the presence of two new Airbus models: the A321neo and the A350-1000, which will perform their first demonstration in the air. Also up close: US Army Boeing V22 convertible (helicopter aircraft), Pilatus PC-21 (French Air Force’s new training aircraft), Patroller tactical drone presentation, new Airbus H160 helicopter, rotary-wing drone (VSR700), 737 MAX 9 and 787- 10 from Boeing, the Japanese patrol plane Kawasaki P-1… You can find all the aircraft on the official websites of those present, as well as the complete program of demonstration flights, day by day.

SIAE, as it is called (International Aeronautics and Space Exhibition), is held every two years, in odd years, in June. In even years, it gives way to the Farnborough Air Show in England. For this 2017 edition, the Paris Air Show opens its doors to professionals in the sector from Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd June. Aeronautical experts, salespeople, engineers, as well as journalists and photographers will have privileged access to the new products. Then, from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th, it will be the turn of the general public. On these three days, the doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

For the general public, the ticket price for the show is 14 euros per day. Children up to 7 years old have free entry. For groups (minimum 15 people) the price is 12.50 euros. Included in these amounts is a “simple” entry to the Paris Air Show. If you want to use a place on the tribune for the flight demonstration, you need to count 11 euros, for an adult as well as for a child (a combined Salon Tribune ticket is also available at a price of 25 euros).

SIAE is held very precisely at this address: Parc des Expositions Paris-le Bourget / Aéroport Paris-le Bourget / 93350 Le Bourget. Two car parks are available for visitors arriving by car: the SIAE car park located near exit 4b-La Courneuve on the A1 (15 euros for professional days, 19 euros for general public days) and the Villepinte car park, accessible from the A104 motorway, at exit 2 “Visitor’s ticket” (11 euros – including transportation to the show). For those going to the event by public transport, there are several solutions: take the RER B to Le Bourget or Villepinte stations and then the shuttle to the airport; take metro line 7 or tram 1 to La Courneuve station – 8 mai 1945, then bus no. 152 or take metro line 12 to Porte de La Chapelle station, then bus 350 to Michelet Parc d’Exposition station. All routes on the official website

Two years ago we were already at the exhibition to show you the highlights. Find our reports from the time dedicated to the Rafale, the Airbus A350 XWB and its competitor the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the main novelties.
