The showcase of electronic music for the last 22 years, the Techno parade that brings tens of thousands of participants to the streets of Paris in September, will not take place due to alienation, organizers announced to AFP this Friday, who are scheduling dates for 2021.
Created and organized by Technopol, an association for the defense and recognition of the electro scene, the first Techno Parade was founded in 1998 on the model of the Love Parade in Berlin. One edition was canceled in 2001, after the attack on the World Trade Center in New York.

The context was not favorable for carriage driving,” Tommy Vaudecrane, president of Technopol, explained to AFP.

The Techno parade has been postponed until 2021, when we will be able to celebrate in a safer framework for everyone’s health,” says the association, hoping to be able to organize an event electro free fashion show in Paris by the end of the year .
