Love Is Blind: Are Paul Peden And Micah Lussier Still Together?
The fourth season of Netflix Love is blind is a prime example of how much reality TV adores the classic love triangle. The series built love triangles involving the same person, 27-year-old marketing executive Micah Lussier, Paul Peden, and Kwame Appiah in the first two episodes.
Micah and former football player Kwame Appiah hit it off early in the season and became friends through their positive thinking and manifestation strategies. Micah, however, quickly found herself attracted to Paul, whom she believed she was having a “slow” romance with. Although Micah and Paul eventually escaped the pods together, it is currently unknown if their relationship has survived since. Love is blind.
The episode was filmed in May 2022 and there is no indication on their Instagram that they are still a couple. Between November 2021 and March 2023, Paul does not post anything. Soon after, Micah accepted Paul’s offer and a still hurt Kwame left the pods with Chelsea. From there, the drama worsened. Micah confided to Irina Solomonova that when he first saw Paul in person, all he could think of was, “He’s not my type,” he added. It was after all the couples had gathered in the villa in Mexico. She added: “Which seems so superficial.” Kwame informed Chelsea that he needed to talk to Micah to finish up.
Chelsea nodded, but soon lost her cool when she saw that Kwame and Micah were busy with other activities besides completing their time in the pods. Even after Micah mocked Kwame’s proposal in front of everyone, they continued to laugh together for over twenty minutes.
In other words, neither Micah nor Paul went back on their promise to break up with Amber after delicately telling Kwame the truth. So they got engaged. He proposed to her in her characteristically awkwardly sweet and romantic way, and she accepted after delaying her decision for a while to show him her love. The young marketing director undoubtedly wanted to say “yes!” but he first wanted to joke with her devoted boyfriend.
“When I’m in the presence of true love,” Paul said, “I feel like I’m standing in the sun, and I feel the warmth that fills every inch of my body. I think when you find someone who makes you feel that way, you should keep them around. So I ask you to stay close. Will you marry me?” To this, Micah finally replied that he would love to burn with him for the rest of his days before adding, “It’s going to be a fast-paced life that seems so satisfying. That’s probably what’s up with you because what makes me feel alive.”
