“Driven by the passion and desire”, Gérard Pont, the director of the festival, wished at any price to maintain this appointment in summer. Each evening of this edition, a documentary will be screened in a city park, followed by the interpretation of several titles. The maintenance of this outdoor festival, which he founded in 2003 was vital “economically” for his team and for him. It is also good news for holidaymakers who want to unwind after several months of confinement followed by the déconfinement progressive. “People want to relive and have a normal life,” says Sebastian Costamagna. “Even if ten people attend a concert, you have to fight in order to give emotion to these ten people,” says Gérard Bridge. “A good part of the success of a concert comes from the public”, abounds in the Express Clément Mao-Takacs. The artistic director and founder of the festival Terraqué, in Carnac, highlights the need for the “sharing and communion” with the public. “I am also doing this business to have this direct contact with people,” says the conductor. The fourth edition of this festival ranging from classical to jazz, will be held from 27 August to 13 September 2020, including 16 symphonic concerts in the churches and chapels of the municipality of the Morbihan, or of one’s surroundings.
