“The university has given consent to set up a new center for innovation and research Total, on the future park of innovation activities carried out by the public development agency (EPA) Paris-Saclay,” said the school in a press release after the board of directors. The construction of this building, which must accommodate 400 people including about 200 employees of the hydrocarbon giant, was originally planned in the very heart of the school campus.
