The ‘Protecting Up with the Kardashians’ star and her ‘famous’ rapper husband welcomed their fourth child into the world via surrogate last week, and on Friday (May 17, 2019), Kim, 38, revealed the signature nickname they’ve chosen to give the newcomer.
Now, an insider has revealed that the couple “mutually” agreed to the identification and that Kanye was “very concerned” during, as a daily reader of Psalms, a spiritual e-book of past Christian testimony and identifying the third part of the Hebrew Bible.
The bag told PEOPLE: “He and Kim are doing exactly what every couple does, each naming places and the others giving their suggestions.
“It’s so traditional.
“Kanye would never just pick a name Kim doesn’t like or vice versa. Names are things you mutually agree on.”
The source continued: “The Psalms are the longest book in the Bible, but Kanye thinks there is a lot of wisdom in them.
— Read the Psalms a lot. He talks about the Psalms he loves. So, on that level, the boy’s name is not a surprise.”
They added that Psalm is “a reflection of where Kanye and Kim are at spiritually.”
‘Insensitive’ rapper Kanye is very dedicated to his faith, and his Sunday church service is held in Lost Hills, Los Angeles, which boasts a “Christian atmosphere”.

In the message that Kanye sent her, he wished her a “beautiful” Mother’s Day – which was celebrated in the United States this past Sunday (12.05.19) – and said they were “blessed beyond measure” to welcome Psalm into the world.
He wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day!
