PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN has accepted Al-Hilal’s world record £259m offer to sign superstar Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.

It is claimed that the Saudi professional league could offer him a staggering £11.6 million a week to join.

PSG are keen to sell Mbappe as the Frenchman enters the final year of his contract: he sent a preliminary letter to club bosses last month confirming he would reject a contract extension.

Al-Hilal’s offer broke PSG’s £198m record since signing Neymar.

It would also see the French champions pocket nearly £100m on Mbappe, signing him for £162m in 2018, despite the striker’s contract situation.

Other stellar moves to Al Ittihad include Karim Benzema, who joined on a salary of £3.5m a week, while teammate N’Golo Kante is believed to earn £1.7m.

Al-Ahli has signed Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino and Riyad Mahrez; the latter is said to be worth about £500,000 a week.
