Rami Kashou who appeared on the 4th season of Project Runway was invited to compete in the 20th season called All-Star. He was five years old when his mother passed away. His grandmother wore only black when she was grieving.
Rami added: “I held her hand as I led her to the closet and picked out the most colorful dresses that were pinned on the back asking her to wear them. Soon after I started painting my younger sister with sheets and we did our own shows.”
By the time he was in seventh grade, Rami knew he wanted to be a designer because he would enjoy designing sketches from his notebook. He runs an e-commerce company that “highlights unique, limited-edition ready-to-wear and made-to-order pieces, along with evening and bridal wear, can sometimes be a challenge, especially creating in an industry dominated by fast fashion. At the same time, I think it opens up a space and an opportunity for small businesses with personal brand stories like mine to offer the necessary tangible boutique experience for conscious consumers looking for unique quality design.”
As for the biggest challenge, Rami launched the “ARD Project”, a series of limited edition social impact design collections that highlight my heritage through beautiful Palestinian hand embroidery.

Did you know? Rami got into a fight in a gay bar where he was injured. He had to fight a brawl at the Abbey gay bar in West Hollywood on Thursday night. According to Black book, an onlooker saw another clubgoer hit Kashou in the head with a martini glass, “leaving him bleeding from head to toe.” The witness said that Rami was taken away by an ambulance.

The Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking Award at the 2005 Newport Beach Film Festival went to Jeff, who created the Lord of the Rings documentary Ringers.
