- Students demonstrated against the abolition of the Railway Recruitment Boards’ Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB-NTPC) exam in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand in 2022. At the Gaya Station in Bihar, several students set fire to the trains and harmed the property of the Indian Railway. Numerous protesters were detained by the police and interrogated while they were in their custody. When the police recorded the protestors’ comments, many of them claimed that Khan Sir and a few other professors had incited the pupils to demonstrate. At the Patrakar Nagar police station in Patna on January 27, 2022, a FIR was filed against Khan Sir, five additional teachers, and 16 students from his coaching centre. Khan Sir reportedly fled after learning that a FIR had been lodged against him, according to reports. Khan Sir and five additional instructors, S. K. Jha, Navin, Amarnath, Gagan Pratap, and Gopal Verma, were accused of violating sections 147, 148, 151, 152, 186, 187, 188, 323, 332, 353, 504, and 120(B) of the IPC.
