The Minister of Culture confirmed the closure of the France 4 channel in one year.
The Minister of Culture confirmed on Tuesday the one-year postponement of the judgment against the France 4 channel and the final closure of France Ô, scheduled for the end of August.

Roselyne Bachelot announced in a press release “a one-year postponement of the judgment to the France 4 channel in order to ensure the necessary transition to the inclusion of an off-line offer for young people by France Televisions”.
“In a health context that remains uncertain, the report on the immediate closure of a number of youth-focused programs that can be used to deliver complementary education seems welcome,” the ministry said. “The additional time will calmly accompany the transition” to France Télévisions’ digital offers for young people, Okoo and Lumni, and will allow the redefinition of fine future networks, including France 5, the ministry said.

The Minister also confirmed that the “judgment of the France O channel of August 23, 2020, “is at the end of the full application of the agreement on visibility for foreign countries”.
