Since Russ Faria was the one who first found his wife dead (married January 21, 2000), he immediately became a suspect in the crime. At the time, Russ was reportedly 41 years old and was convicted of murder after a failed prosecution in 2013. He faced first-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
