The shocking announcement that Sammie Okposo, best known for his 2004 song “Naija Praise”, has passed away at the age of 51 has left the Nigerian entertainment world in shock.

Sammie Okposo, a true music producer, psalmist and CEO of Zamar Entertainment, died in Lagos on Friday, November 25, according to information compiled by Mandy News.

At the time of his death, he was reportedly lying in his residence in the city.

The musician, who recently drew attention with the cheating scandal, released his debut album Addicted in 2004.

He reportedly fell when he woke up this morning before he passed away.
