This year, Rakshabandhan is celebrated on August 30 and 31, 2023. However, school authorities usually declare the day as a holiday. Thus, some schools announce holidays on August 30, while some declare a holiday on August 31, 2023. Parents and students can approach school authorities regarding holidays.
Onam holidays 2023 for school
On the other hand, schools in Kerala will declare holidays from August 28 to 30, 2023 due to Onam celebrations in the state. However, some parts of Kerala will remain closed till September 3, 2023. If the holidays coincide with exams, students must get in touch with the authorities.
School holidays 2023: Delhi schools closed for G-20 summit
Meanwhile, schools and government offices in Delhi will remain closed from September 8 to 10, 2023. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approved a proposal to declare a public holiday in the state till September 10, 2023.
The holiday is being declared to ensure that roads are less congested to allow smooth passage for G-20 dignitaries. The G-20 summit will be held in Pragati Maidan.
The G-20 participants are expected to visit before the formal dinner and main event. The program will be organized on Pragati Maidan with a cultural event. The National Gallery of Modern Art and Pusa Road were the first destinations of the presenter’s spouse.
