Air pollution in Noida: With air pollution rising in the Delhi NCR region, several schools have stopped all their outdoor activities while others have also announced to shift classes to online mode due to health concerns of students amid declining air quality.

According to reports, outdoor activities including sports activities and morning assembly have been put on hold or moved indoors in many schools in the Noida region. Several schools have also started canceling events including annual sports days and inter-school competitions that were due to be held this week after careful consideration of the dangerous fog currently enveloping the region.

According to reports, one of the school authorities in Noida said that for the past two days, all outdoor school activities have been stopped and shifted to indoor halls as a precautionary measure for students amid high pollution levels in the city. The decision to close schools will be made after the county administration issues an order.

However, schools in the district have said that classes will be switched to an online mode. Student classes will be conducted online for 11th and 12th grade students.
