“If you don’t know, Black quintessential is Martha’s Vineyard, and Martha’s Vineyard is Black quintessential,” the actors say in the trailer. And it couldn’t be more true. Martha’s Vineyard actually has a long history of welcoming black tourists and was one of the first beach destinations where African Americans could vacation and buy real estate.
As the cameras rolled, viewers noticed that Shanice was close friends with her co-stars Jasmine Cooper, Bria Fleming, and Jordan Emanuel. On top of that, the typical party girl looking for her husband-to-be was pretty intriguing to watch as well.
He said on camera that he is recovering from his last relationship and dealing with attachment issues. However, she also mentioned that she has extremely high standards when it comes to dating. Not surprisingly, it seemed that at the time of writing this article he still hadn’t found the one he was looking for. Or maybe they just asked him not to say a word.

A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Karla Mikkelson is the loving mother of Shanice Henderson. She is the daughter of the late Lennis Sauvage and the sister of Butch (married to Kim), Deb (married to Mike) Dunn, Patty Graeber (married to Daryl Alons) and Jeff Sauvage.
Sadly, his brother, Butch, passed away on March 2, 2017 at the age of 59. He was a native of Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Aberdeen, and attended Central High School. There he worked for Biegler Motors, as a trucker for L & O Acres and as a technician at Speedys TMA before beginning his 23-year career with Centennial Homes in 1994.
