“The night needs its own recovery plan, the night should reopen no later than July 10”. That’s what independent players in the music scene and festivals are demanding this Thursday in a forum and online petition. For now, the government has closed nightclubs at least until September. And concert halls and festivals face a measurement barrier that is not in line with their business model.
“There are tens of thousands of us, every week we go to concert halls, clubs, bars/discos, festivals. In other words, we were”, complain the authors of the forum and the petition. They claim “opening discussions with the government in order to have visibility on the reopening of schools under satisfactory conditions for receiving the public”.

They also want to be “heard and respected like any other sector of the French economy. It is frivolous to have information about a music festival a few days before”. They also criticize the minister (of culture), who (…) is not visible to me”. the signatories add.
