South Delhi car owner finds 6-foot python stuck in vehicle

Winters are approaching in Delhi and as the weather turns cold, both people and animals look for a warm and cozy place. And for the snake, that cozy place seems to have been the engine compartment of a car. So when a car owner from South Delhi found a six-foot python resting in his car, he quickly called Wildlife SOS, an animal rescue team to help save the snake. The video of the rescue was shared by the organization on X.

“A massive python found an unexpected shelter in a car in South Delhi. A sympathetic car owner approached Wildlife SOS for emergency assistance and a well-trained team quickly arrived at the scene, working in coordination with police and forest officials,” Wildlife SOS wrote on the microblogging platform. The organization further added: “Rescuers carried out a detailed operation, crawling under the car to locate the python that had entered the engine compartment. After more than half an hour of careful efforts, the snake was safely secured and handed over to the forest officials.”

They also shared a video showing a man getting under a car and catching a huge snake.
