Steve Lesh first appeared on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in November 2020, when the show’s groundbreaking episode titled “Welcome to Salt Lake City!” aired aired on Bravo.
At the time, Whitney shared that Steve turned to prescription drugs after his wife decided to divorce him. “My dad became very lonely and turned to prescription drugs to self-medicate,” she revealed. (Whitney was 16 at the time.)
So, Steve was sent to rehab for 30 days, and after his return, the father-daughter duo did everything they could to make a fresh start. Long story short, Whitney took him to church, got him into a sober life, and even made him move into her house during the 2020 pandemic.
Unfortunately, Steve just couldn’t adjust to them. Therefore, being accused of manipulating and exploiting Whitney and her husband Justin, he was forced to leave his home.

Since leaving his daughter’s house, Steve only contacted Whitney on her 33rd birthday (meaning September 30, 2019). However, it was still under fire months later, until in September 2020, everyone was completely lost in it.
