Sundar Pichai gives a sneak peek into Google’s 25th birthday party

Google turned a year older on September 27. This year, the tech giant celebrated its 25th birthday. To mark the occasion, the company shared a playful doodle incorporating the number ’25’ into its iconic logo on the home page of its search engine. Now, its CEO Sundar Pichai has taken to Instagram to give a peek into the celebrations surrounding Google’s 25th birthday.

“It’s not a birthday without a birthday party – and birthday cookies! It’s great to see Googlers around the world coming together to celebrate our 25th birthday,” Sundar Pichai wrote while sharing a few pictures on Instagram.

Images are from Google offices around the world. The first image shows Pichai addressing employees on the occasion of the company’s silver jubilee. Another shows employees posing with a shiny three-tiered cake. Other images on the slide show how employees in different offices marked the day. The image shows cookies kept at the company with a ’25’ or Google Doodle of that day on them. One image even shows people writing birthday wishes on a giant poster. The last image on the slide shows a cute dog posing with a cookie-shaped stuffed toy and treats.
