Survivor Season 1
Survivor: Borneo, also known as Survivor or Survivor: Pulau Tiga, is the first season of the CBS reality show Survivor. Filmed from March to April 2000, it was released on May 31 of the same year. The season features 16 contestants who must survive on a remote island in Borneo, Malaysia, with limited resources. The show is hosted by Jeff Probst and runs for 39 days, during which contestants are eliminated one by one until a winner is announced. The island is located in the South China Sea, on the Malaysian island of Pulau Tiga in Sabah, approximately 6 miles off the coast of Borneo.

Survivor is a reality television show inspired by the Swedish show Expedition Robinson. It is about contestants who are isolated in a remote location and must fend for themselves to obtain food, fire and shelter.
