Swiggy adds chole bhature twist to Virat Kohli’s disclaimer ahead of World Cup

Virat Kohli took to social media to share a special disclaimer with everyone ahead of the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. He “humbly” asked his friends not to “ask him about tickets at all during the tournament”. As expected, screenshots of his Instagram story started resurfacing on other social media platforms as people re-shared them using different captions. And Swiggy got in on it and shared Kohli’s story, but with a twist.

“As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to inform all my friends not to ask me for tickets at all during the tournament. Enjoy from your homes please,” Virat Kohli wrote on his Instagram stories.

Swiggy reposted the image with a small change. They replaced the word “ticket” with “rama ke chole bhature.” The food delivery company’s twist references the cricketer’s love of food.
