The best Vargo-S Warzone loadout

With the launch of season 4 of Reloaded in the Call of Duty: Warzone, players now have access to the Vargo-S assault rifle, which can be unlocked by winning 15 close range eliminations. This weapon doesn’t feel overpowered and probably won’t fall on the target, but it works great as a sniper support. Of course, knowing how to build any Vanguard weapons can be overwhelming because War zone it features 10 attachment slots and dozens of options on all of them.

In this guide, we’ll offer a breakdown of how to use the new Vargo-S, along with a recommended build to help you be at your best.

Vargo-S review

The new Vargo-S assault rifle is described as excellent “in medium and long range attacks”. While it’s certainly viable at long range, you’ll probably have a hard time using it in situations like this due to the slow bullet speed. However, its competitive time to kill (TTK) makes up for its shortcomings, so your mileage may vary. Compared to other high-end assault rifles with less recoil and easier handling, you’ll likely fare better with the Vargo-S during mid-range combat on smaller maps like Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep.

With that in mind, we advise using this as a support sniper weapon, as it stays up close and works best at between 20 and 40 meters. However, feel free to experiment with different options based on your playstyle, as always.

The best filling Vargo-S

Recommended filling:

Muzzle Mercury silencer
Barrel
Optical Slate reflector
Stock Mirzoyan Custom SK2
Under the pipe M1941 Manual stop
Magazine 7.62x54mmR 60 round drums
ammunition Prolonged
Rear handle Hatched grip
Privilege Hardscope
Convenience 2 On hand

With this build, we like to prioritize movement speed and aiming speed (ADS) while maintaining bullet speed and recoil control.

Start with a Mercury barrel silencer for sound reduction and improved horizontal recoil control and bullet velocity, without the downsides. If you opt for the MX suppressor, you’ll get more of the long-range advantage, but at the expense of ADS speed, so we recommend skipping that muzzleloader. After that we advise using the custom Mirzoyan 414mm barrel, which gives you improved sprint-to-fire speed, better recoil control, ADS speed and more stability.

With this build, you’ll want to stick with simpler optics like the Slate Reflector. Best to have something with a lower zoom so you don’t penalize your ADS speeds. After that, we recommend choosing the Mirzoyan Custom SK2 stock, which enhances your recoil control, making up for some of the shortcomings of other accessories.

Follow that up with the M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel, giving you even more recoil control and making those mid-range encounters go smoothly. Then, equip the 7.62x54mmR 60 Round Drums Magazine for maximum ammo, increased headshot damage, and better vertical recoil control — at the expense of bullet speed and range. Your can use the Sakura 45 round drum, which improves your ADS speeds, but you may often run out of ammo, especially in larger team modes.

Even with a design that doesn’t stand out at long distances, we still advise using a type of extended ammo, which gives you better bullet speed since you’ll still have advantages at mid-range. Next, the Hatched Grip Rear Grip is a great option, as it gives you improved recoil control and better recoil resistance without the drawbacks.

When it comes to the first Perk, we suggest Hardscope, which also gives you better recoil control with no penalties. Complete the build with On-Hand for Perk 2, giving you faster ADS speed and gear dexterity. Fully Loaded also works, but won’t necessarily improve your performance on the battlefield.

Convenience 1 Quick fix
Convenience 2 tempered
Convenience 3 amplifier

With the Serpentine Perk nerf, it’s not as viable as before, so we recommend going back to Quick Fix instead. Of course, it’s a bit more situational, but instant health regeneration when applying armor plate is never a bad thing. Combined with Tempered, you’ll be back to full health in no time as this perk allows you to reach max armor with just two panels. Finally, use Amped for Perk slot 3, which increases your weapon switching speed. This will come in handy when running with the Vargo-S alongside the sniper.

Lethal equipment termites
Tactical equipment With that

You can’t go wrong with a lot of lethal gear options, but we’ve been loving Thermites lately. They deal splash damage and work extremely well when thrown into a building before charging. Wrap the build in Stims, offering instant health regeneration and a temporary speed boost that can be used even when gassed.
