This Tuesday, it is the Order of Physicians, which strongly condemned the online directories of the health care professional community: “lists of caregivers classified according to skin color have been widely circulated on the Internet and social networks in the last few days. CNOM (Conseil national de l’ordre des médecins) and CNOI (National Council of Colleges of Nursing) can only take a stand against this initiative, which is contrary to the fundamental principles of our profession, but also of our Republic,” the two organizations explained in a statement posted on Twitter.

“Working with the population, health professionals have sworn to treat with the same commitment and the same self-sacrifice, regardless of the origin, skin color, social situation or guidelines of religious, philosophical or sexual orientation of their patients. They listen, review and support respecting everyone, without any discrimination according to status or belief,” write the two peaceful bodies.
The willingness of the Medical Association “to do everything to put an end to this kind of practice that is contrary to the principles of the profession and the law” is also said.
