The Hispanic community represents 19 percent of the population. This makes the Hispanic population a “minority” that participates more in the economy, culture, science and in all areas of life. The auto industry is no exception: nearly 20 percent of vehicles sold in the US in 2020 were purchased by people of Hispanic origin.

In 2020, 29 percent of new vehicle registrations were multicultural (Hispanic, Asian, African-American), with Hispanics leading the growth of this category in the automotive industry. These are the favorite cars of Hispanic Americans.

Toyota has long focused on Latin American consumers, with inclusive sales policies and Spanish-language advertising campaigns featuring well-known Latin American personalities. However, what it mainly offers to consumers are vehicles with the latest technology, comfort and safety that have helped the company maintain its position as a leader in the Latin American market and in general.

The Civic is the most purchased car by Latin Americans in the US due to its performance, durability, design, and reliability as a family vehicle. It is a direct competitor to the Corolla, a car with which it fights year after year for the preferences of Latin American consumers.
Toyota Corolla
Since its launch, it has been a classic among Latin Americans thanks to Toyota’s bilingual advertising campaigns, 31-mpg fuel economy, and efficient 1.8-liter engine. The Corolla is also a comfortable vehicle with a family approach and great durability.

This is the favorite SUV of Latin Americans, mainly because of its innovative design, power, and security system called Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. Safety features include automatic front emergency braking with pedestrian detection, departure warning, lane-keep and lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and traffic sign assist.

Another Toyota car that appears on the list of best sellers among US Hispanics is the Camry, which is in a class above the Corolla. The Camry is midsize, but more expensive than the Corolla. It offers more features than its little brother, but it’s still a great performance car.
silver chevrolet
It is the only truck that appears on this list. Chevrolet Silverado is a robust and powerful truck, ideal for hard work, but at the same time it is light. It has plenty of space and special safety equipment for children, which makes it ideal for transporting your family. So, if you are looking for a heavy truck, and at the same time a comfortable and safe family vehicle, this is the one for you.
