Optical illusions are able to achieve the unachievable — challenging our visuals skills and surprising our mind. An artist on Instagram who goes by the handle username Rishi Draws has created an incredible Kenoptical illusion.
In the video, he says, “I loved the Barbie movie so much that I made an optical illusion of my favorite character that you can only see with your eyes closed!”The video involves an image of Ryan Gosling as Ken in the shares of black, blue, green, yellow, and peach.
How does it work?
“But to make this work, I need you to stare at this dot for 30 seconds. Then close your eyes. Got it? Now just keep staring at it. You can blink, but keep looking at it. Don’t worry about counting the seconds, I’ll keep a track of it,” the artist explains.
What to do once done with staring?
“Now when I tell you, not just yet, but when I tell you, close your eyes and tilt your head up slightly. Then blink with your eyes closed if that makes sense. You should see the portrait then slowly appear. For better results, make sure you hold your phone still and set it to maximum brightness. Also, try this during the day because it works better in a bright environment,” he adds.
Time for the image to appear!
The artist says, “Ok we are almost ready to close our eyes. 3, 2, 1, close your eyes. Now tilt your head up slightly and start blinking with your eyes closed. You should slowly see a portrait appear. Do you see it?””Omfg!
