THIS unfortunate maple syrup poster has gone viral, after some dirty-minded netizens drew comparisons between the leaky bottle and something a little grosser.
An ad for State Of Vermont Pure Maple Syrup made everyone on Reddit laugh, despite its innocent message.

On the poster is a picture of the Vermont state lines, which could be compared to the body of a man.
Although the inclusion of the dripping maple syrup bottle is what really pissed people off.
An image of the poster was shared by Redditer OneBakingPanda in the early hours of this morning, and it has already been viewed over 9,000 times, garnering hundreds of comments.
If you still can’t spot the problem, IrrelevantLeprechaun summed it up in his comment.
He wrote: “The real reason is that the syrup valve attached to the shape of the state looks like a penis with a little hand reaching out.”
While badhombre84 quipped, “Looks like a Vermont man caught a case of gout.”

However, some people have wondered if the apparent similarities could actually be a mistake.
