An Alabama woman who went missing after reporting to a 911 dispatcher that she saw a young child walking alone on the side of the road has returned home, according to authorities. The boy has been missing since Thursday night, when 25-year-old Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell called 911 to report that she had seen him on the shoulder of I-459 South.
According to the Hoover Police Department, Carlee stopped after the call to check on the girl and to call a relative who had lost contact with her, even though the line was still open.
