“Thank you Tim Hortons for whitewashing Diwali,” X user @lilcosmicowgirl wrote while sharing a screenshot of the menu online. According to the image, the restaurant chain has listed seven special items for Diwali. One of the items that has attracted considerable attention from social media users is the ‘jalebi cheesecake doughnut’. The item is made from a classic Tim Hortons donut filled with cheesecake, dipped in vanilla and topped with jalebi.

The tweet was shared on November 8. It has since garnered more than 37,000 views, and the numbers are still growing. A few even took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
