I am leaving in the fall of 2018 and beyond to make sure everything is set up on Bonaire, we went to the adventure golf course. For the SBS program, the Scheetjes building on the island of Bonaire, they are trying to build a country-and-western style resort next to the golf course.
“I’m still here, the people we know, I’m leaving,” says Claire, from Böhmer on NU.nl. “And then we hear they’ve been followed and their aunt is a fan, or so the video would say. It’s probably going to be worse than that.”
Ten Böhmer, no problem. “There you are. And we’re already used to it. We have to have all the people’s attention. Even though we were so busy, I, as the person in the photo, called: ‘Fart, come, there’s someone who wants to be in the picture.’ In the past, nobody wanted a photo, but now they do, so it’s a lot of fun.”
When it was set up in April 2016 and when we went to Bonaire, there were no plans to build a resort, to build it. “This wasn’t a problem until the government came to ask if it wouldn’t be something fun to know the terrain right next to the golf course. When we have a plan, but then it turns out it’s not as easy as we hoped it would be. Now we use everything kinds of drugs and we’re trying to do it in a roundabout way.”
‘Lessons, but not us’
Ten Böhmer said that important lessons can be learned in the last few years about creating something new. “But we don’t,” she says, laughing. “Then we decided to buy things without having the basics on Bonaire, and now it’s kind of the same story. We already ordered it in front of the resort. That is, it takes a long time to get the licenses, it’s a shame, but I think it will be fine in the end .”
They are currently shooting for a reality show that will air on SBS6 from January 6. “We hope it’s as fun as Meilandjes (Chateau, Meiland, ed.), let’s move on.”
