Popular musician Timi Dakolo, whose wife is currently embroiled in a rape controversy, has reacted to recent allegations by a former staff member of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her. .
A former church staffer who spoke on condition of anonymity Thursday said Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her sometime in 2017 at the pastor’s home.
At the time, she said she was a COZA employee who worked directly with the pastor and was also a member of the church.
According to her, Pastor Fatoyinbo asked her to come to his house in the outskirts of Nigeria that day (Thursday morning) to receive some instructions and run an errand, but the scenario changed after he stopped talking about church and the grabbed towards him.
Reacting to the recent interview, Timi Dakolo took to his Instagram page and described the interview as the truth and not an attack on the church.
According to him, the revelations are not an attack on the church, but “an attack on an individual who uses the church as a way to destroy women.”
