Legendary singer Tina Turner, known worldwide as the queen of rock ‘n’ roll, passed away on May 24 after a long illness. Her death occurred at her residence in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland, her spokeswoman Bernard Doherty confirmed.
“With her, the world is losing a musical legend and role model.” Doherty said in an official statement posted via Deadline.
