Tory Lanez Faces Up To 23 Years In Prison For Shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Grammy-winning rapper Tory Lanez has been found guilty by a Los Angeles court of all counts of filming Megan Thee Stallion 2020 outside a house party.

The incident occurred as Megan Thee Stallion was leaving a meeting at Kylie Jenner’s house. The shooting in her foot was allegedly committed by Lanez.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is charged with assault while brandishing a semi-automatic weapon and having a loaded weapon without a license in a moving vehicle.

Subsequently, the prosecution added the use of a firearm with extreme disability as a third offense. Now that he has been found guilty, he could face up to 23 years in prison and, after serving his sentence, he could be transferred back to his native Canada.

In the courtroom, Lanez pleaded not guilty to shooting him. His public involvement included the release of an album devoted entirely to challenging Megan Thea Stallion’s account of events.

The investigation began in July 2020. In the Hollywood Hills, police pulled over a van that was parked at four-high.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, testified during the trial that when police asked her why she was bleeding, she initially claimed that she had cut her leg on the glass.

After EMS transported her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, surgeons discovered bullet fragments in her foot that had to be surgically removed.

Megan Thee Stallion later identified Lanez as the killer in her Instagram post, despite her initial reluctance to come forward. In the song “Shots Fired”, she shoots him.

Megan Thee Stallion claimed in her testimony that Lanez offered her $1 million in exchange for her silence about the incident.

Lanez declined to give a defense statement.

Always be careful and stay out of danger.
