The Ile-de-France region and a dozen associations of public transport users launched a petition to the state on Thursday to pay for the loss of revenue related to the outbreak of the coronavirus, reports franceinfo. According to the Region, which is threatening to suspend public transport in Île de France already this summer, this loss is estimated at 2.6 billion euros.
“The emergency is real”
