US ambassador Eric Garcetti clicks selfies with commuters while taking a ride in Delhi Metro

The US ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, took a ride on the Delhi Metro that impressed him. A video of him riding the subway and interacting with passengers was posted on Instagram.

The video was published on the official website of MyGov. “The US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, experienced the Delhi Metro firsthand and was impressed by what he saw. He considered it a well-maintained, efficient and exemplary green public transport system, which ranks among the best in the world,” reads the description published alongside the clip.

The video opens to show Eric Garcetti holding a smart card and saying “Mera Metro.” He smiles almost immediately. The clip then continues to show him entering the station swiping his smart card and waiting for a train on the platform.

As the video goes, he is seen entering the train and interacting with the passengers. He also takes selfies with some of them and even punches passengers.
