Walk towards Inclusion will be held on 13 May as part of G20 Civil 20 India 2023.
Center for International Cultural Studies, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Karma Foundation are organizing Inclusive Walk as part of the Task Force on Diversity, Inclusion and Mutual Respect for Civilian 20 India 2023. The inaugural event will be held on 13 May 2023 with a panel discussion with industry leaders, followed by ‘Walking towards Inclusion’ from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to Kartavya Path, India Gate India, New Delhi.
The main guest of the event was prof. Shashibala, ICCS president and program manager, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs and Culture. They will also lead the meeting with special guests such as Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe – President – Council for International Cultural Relations, Shri Asok Pradhan – Director – Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Delhi Kendra) and Ms. Nidhi Goel – member of the Director’s C20 Board.
The walk will involve members of different socioeconomic backgrounds to present their issues to the public and the government. A discussion on understanding DEI initiatives in the corporate world will be held at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan with a vision to include different groups in the workforce to empower them economically.
