He was scheduled to appear to commentate the Brooklyn Nets-Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors-Boston Celtics games on January 19, 2023.
Ernie’s mom passed away on Tuesday, January 17th at the age of 94. Inside The NBA host Ernie Johnson missed last night’s broadcast, then took time off to be with his family and grieve the loss of his mother.
