K-pop fans were stunned to see a woman pounce on GOT7’s Jackson Wang, rubbing something on his clothes and throwing it away, before being dragged off by security in Thailand. The incident occurred on July 22, 2023, shortly after the singer and rapper ended his fan event with OnePlus.
As he left the venue, the GOT7 member pulled up in his truck to greet the fans. He took just enough time to hang out with them as they all cheered for him from afar. However, the sweet scene turned sour incredibly quickly as the woman made her way to the vehicle and suddenly grabbed it.
According to multiple videos circulating online, the person had a white substance on her hand that she appeared to be rubbing or spraying on Jackson Wang’s chest. The woman also pinched the back of his shirt several times before security took it away. The singer-rapper, who was with his parents, looked shocked and confused, as did fans who said he felt “raped” by his wife.

GOT7’s Jackson Wang’s security team in Thailand is receiving extreme criticism from fans online around the world. The criticism came after fans became very concerned about MAGICIAN singer after an almost physical attack by a woman.
While leaving the venue for his OnePlus fan meeting on July 22, the singer was subjected to girly rubbing and shirt-squeezing while greeting his fans.
Thai fans shared videos from various angles on Twitter to express their anger and support. Many commented that the videos showed the incompetence of the security team as the woman stood near the vehicle for a few seconds before running towards the GOT7 member.
They also noted that the team did not react immediately, giving the woman more time to spray or rub something on the front of her shirt as she wrung her clothes out of the back.

Additionally, the woman was apparently seen yelling something, angrily, towards fans. Jackson Wang looked at his shirt, the security personnel and his wife in complete disbelief after the incident. He also kept going through his shirt. His parents who were with him also looked visibly concerned.
From expressing frustration with the woman, to digging up details about her to attacking security guards, fans continued to express concern for Jackson Wang. Some even mentioned that the incident could have turned violent if the woman was in possession of a weapon.
