Charles Nii Armah Mensah Popularly identified in showbiz as Shatta Wale, he recently appeared on the album by US pop star Beyoncé.
In an interview about how their collaboration came to be, Shatta Wale revealed that he is a huge fan of Beyoncé’s music and has sampled her work multiple times.
He also revealed that he was dying to meet Beyoncé since they had never physically met to record the music.
He affirmed;
“I used her beats for some of my songs and I listen to her a lot… The day I meet Beyoncé Ghana I won’t sleep for two days, I’ll make noise everywhere.
Everyone knows that Shatta Wale tends to exaggerate his feelings. It should be remembered that she kissed Stonebwoy at his peace convention just a few weeks ago.
In fact, he has something comparable to Jay Z. According to him, when he sees Jay Z, he kisses him and shines his shoe as a sign of his love and respect for him.
He affirmed;
“As for her husband Jay Z, I’ll kiss him when I meet him and possibly shine his shoes… Ghanaians should wait and see what happens after he’s a part of Beyonce on her world tour.”
