These giant enemies are hard to miss once they appear, as they will start attacking as soon as you are in range, so it’s best to have a strategy in place. Even with their large size, you’d be surprised how hard they are to find if you don’t know where to look.

If you’re not playing a quest that involves killing Titans, the quickest way to find them is on Freeplay. There are several different types of Titans spread across the map. The first series of Titans was tied to the “There Be Giants” event that took place during Anthemon launch weekend of 2019, but we were still able to locate them after the event ended. Below are the locations on the map, as well as what the area looks like.

This first Titan is the easiest to find and there are vantage points to fight if it shows up here. As soon as you exit Tarsis Fortress and enter Freeplay, head east towards Tarsis Valley. When you reach the Valley of Tarshish, look for a tall stone pillar. Titan will be right next to you. Note that the titan can still attack you with certain abilities if he is standing on a pillar.

This next Titan can be found in the eastern reach section of the map, which is pretty easy to spot. Once you’ve searched the Valley of Tarshish region, simply fly east and circle any mountains or obstacles until you reach the location marked above. During the “There Be Giants” event, this Titan was named the Havoc Titan, but the only one players find now is the standard Ancient Ash Titan.

If you haven’t found anything in the East Belt or Tarsis Valley, you can try heading further north on the map until you reach Great Falls Canyon. There are mushroom-shaped structures here that you can stand on while you search and take cover from the incoming fire. The location is also right next to the surface of the water, should you need to avoid detection or cool down your thrusters quickly.

Monument Watch can be a bit tricky if you visit the Titan locations in order. Fly to the area directly to the southeast near the Emerald Abyss and you should see a large lake. Look at the nearby mountain and you will find a portal that will direct you to the Monument Watch area. From there, head north until you see large circular raised platforms. You can find the Titan here if he has spawned.

You can get Corium quickly. You can get access to Titans while moving through the main story without going to Freeplay.

In the “Dawn Shield Crafting” section, an option appears to choose between talking to Dax or talking to Matthias. We chose Dax and did the quests for him first, after that you can talk to Matthias. In Tarsis Fortress, talk to him. You will have to complete his contract through various tasks. You will fight Escari and Titans, receiving Corium as a reward.

After completing Titans and Escare, you can claim Corium. It will appear out of nowhere. It will take you to the next part of the story. These quests shouldn’t take more than an hour to complete. You can get the same reward benefits from defeating Escari the same way you would from conquering a Titan.
