Keeley said Jill picked up Miles near 29th Street and Ridge Avenue and drove them home after they fled the scene in a stolen car. It is unclear if Jill’s brother is facing legal action.

Fitzgerald was “a father, an avid runner and, as one fellow officer described him, ‘everything you’d want in a police officer,'” WPVI reporter Beccah Hendrickson wrote on Facebook.
